I've added below some photos of the school (called Ollin) where I'm taking the School for International Training TESOL course, as well as some photos around Oaxaca, including the moon over the zocalo and the church of Santo Domingo. There are beautiful mountains around here!
Report back on the quiz: Many of you figured out that I live near marble or granite shops / workshops of some sort; but only Bernadette guessed that I lived near a cemetery. I didn't realize when I moved onto the Boulevard del Panteon that the panteon is, in fact, a huge graveyard. Needless to say, it's a pretty quiet neighborhood.

I am finally leaving a comment. (For the girl who hasn't updated her friendster profile in 4 years, that is an accomplishment!) It sounds wonderful so far! I wasn't in time to take the quiz, but I look forward to participating in future quizzes. Glad you like your digs and sounds like you have some interesting folks in your class (I want to live for a month a year in a collective house on Vashon Island--how is this possible?) as well as folks on the street, such as the goths.
