Lovely Hierve el Agua, right in the mountains. The limestone springs have made deposits that created a "waterfall" of limestone down the side of the mountain. There's also a nice pool for taking a dip.
Chelsea, her now-husband Mathew, and their friend Colin and I spent a relaxing day and night here, staying in the tourist "yuu" - a cheap accommodation. We almost got stranded, since the taxi traffic was almost nonexistent up there - but luckily Colin and I discovered a mutual passion for euchre, and we got a few good games in before we were finally rescued (from our isolation and our tense competition) and returned to Mitla.
