i got to San Marcos la Laguna yesterday, just across the lake from where I was before. But this place is much smaller - just one little cobblestone pathway leading up through the center of hippieville. The place i'm staying is justifiably called 'Las Pyramides' - almost everything is shaped like a pyramid. Yoga this morning was in a pyramid-shaped room with a pyramid in the middle of it - of course with a crystal ball in the tiny glass pyramid that capped off the larger pyramid.
maybe that's why i'm feeling a little on edge. Triangles have never been the most comfortable thing for me to live in. Even cones are better, don't you think? Less harsh angles. Oh, and did I mention i've come down with some sort of fever/cold type thing? Sometimes traveling really sucks. This is one of those times.
except for Harry Potter. My last-minute second-hand purchase of book #7 in San Pedro is getting me through this trippy, spaced-out, way-too-much-in-my-own-head day. Oh that, and writing this. Laughing at myself is always better than the alternative.
Peace out...i gotta go meditate.

Hola amiga,
Sounds like some great soul searching going on...and doing it in what looks to be a lovely place! Hope it's bringing you some fresh perspective in your journey.
Thinking of you, my friend!
Christine
